Aarhus Airport has a single passenger terminal, which operates from 06:00 until midnight (or later, if flights are delayed). The terminal is equipped with 10 check-in desks, four gates and two air-bridges.

Most of the flights are handled by Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) and Climber Air, which offer 12 to 13 daily return flights to Copenhagen, Denmark, from where passengers can then connect to over 100 foreign destinations. British Airways, Ryanair, Finnair and Nazar Nordic also run several flights in and out of the airport each day.

This well-equipped, modern airport provides all the amenities a traveller needs. A range of food choices can be found in the restaurant and café, and those looking for a drink will find a couple of fully apportioned bars. While shopping opportunities are limited, passengers will find a gift shop, newsagent and tobacconist.


The Euroshop shopping centre sells tax-free beer, wine, cosmetics and perfumes, and there is a duty-free shop in the Departures Lounge. The terminal is also home to a travel agent, which can assist with your plans, as well as a first-aid centre and a baby-changing room.

Basic travelling necessities such as ATM machines, pay phones and televisions are available throughout the terminal. A bank and a bureau de change are also on hand to help with financial needs as well as a first-aid centre and a baby-changing room. There is an airport information desk in the Arrivals area, which can assist with left luggage and other local travel assistance. Wireless Internet access is available at most points of the terminal.

For those looking to relax before a flight, the terminal also has a VIP lounge, which also offers business services such as fax, photocopying and Internet access. The airport also has a business room with a 50-person capacity available for use (tel: +45 8775 7250).

Aarhus Airport is designed to be completely accessible to disabled travellers, with lowered telephone booths and specially fitted toilets in the terminal. Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline ahead of time if they need specific help with their travels.
